benzie.live is the community events calendar for Benzie County, Michigan. This bot gathers public event listings from local organizations — chambers, libraries, townships, museums, venues — and features them on the calendar with links back to the original page.
It visits each source once per day, in the early morning (around 2:00 AM
Eastern), fetching a single listing page and occasionally an event's detail
page. It identifies itself with the User-Agent
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; BenzieLiveBot/1.0; +https://benzie.live/bot/index.html).
If you'd like your events featured, removed, fetched differently, or if the bot is causing any trouble at all, contact us and we'll fix it promptly:

If your site publishes an RSS, iCal, or JSON events feed, tell us — we'd rather read your feed than crawl your pages.
